Anne Hathaway appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and confirmed that both she and Julie Andrews are on board for filming the final installment of The Princess Diaries.

The 26-year-old also revealed that the script for The Princess Diaries 3 has already been written, and if the producers give it the green light, the movie would set to release more than a decade after The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, in which Mia was crowned ‘Her Majesty Amelia Mignonette Thermopolis Renaldi, Queen of Genovia’.

I seriously cannot contain my excitement!!

While talking on Andy’s chat show, the actress basically said the staff wants to do a third movie. They received a call from a fan who asked Hathaway about the movie, to which she replied:

There is a script for the third movie. There is a script. I want to do it. Julie [Andrews] wants to do it. Debra Martin Chase, our producer, wants to do it. We all really want it to happen.

It’s just we don’t want to unless it’s perfect because we love it just as much as you guys love it. It’s as important to us as it is to you, and we don’t want to deliver anything until it’s ready, but we’re working on it.

For God’s and everyone else’s sake, JUST DO IT ALREADY!

In 2016, after the original director of the movie, Garry Marshall passed away, Andrews spoke to BuzzFeed about a third installment which would also be a tribute to the late director. She also explained that “there’s talk about it” and how everyone’s on board, and that “Annie” even had an idea for the movie. Pretty much all cast members would be happy to go on with a third movie.

I think we might do it in honor of him. Annie had an idea that she wanted to pursue about it, and I’m all for it, so if she’d like to…

Anne Hathaway and Matthew McConaughey both appeared on Andy’s chat show to promote their new movie, Serenity, which was set to release on January 25 in the USA.

While the movie has been already been slammed by the critics, fans admitted of having mixed feeling about it. Watch the trailer below.

One person tweeted, saying he’s really eager to see the new movie.

I wasn’t really intending to see this Serenity movie, but after coming across what the twist was, it has suddenly become my most anticipated movie.

While another one wrote:

Anybody who spoils the ending for SERENITY in my feed gets blocked. Gonna try to see it tonight, DEFINITELY tomorrow. But I’m dead serious. If SERENITY’s twist is as bananas as you guys say it is I want to see it for myself, in context.

In the UK, the movie is set to release on March 1 in cinemas as well as on Sky Movies.

Will you be watching it?!
